First of all, I am a pretty avid space geek.
That being said, it makes me sad that it looks as though the Mars Global Surveyor is perhaps lost. It had ten good years, and it only ended because one of the barings (possibly) gave out, causing the solar panels not to orient correctly. What is impressive is that they could use other missions in orbit to try and image the MGS.
Oh well. R.I.P MGS.
