Gamecube games for cheap(er)!

Well, now that the Wii is out and the big N is shifting focus, now there are probably some places that are selling NGC games for rock bottom(er?) prices. In my area, I’m thinking of Circut City and CompUSA.

If anyone reads this, perhaps they can tell me where some better deals are?

Sony, why you gotta be that way?

Looks like Sony sent a max of 175k PS3’s to the market for the launch.

Now, I’m no market guru or anything, but that seems like a crappy number of consoles to have available on one of the biggest days in the console’s lifespan. In addition, it looks like the games available are pretty crappy. Nintendo is kicking their ass on almost every front this time around.

First of all, I am a pretty avid space geek.

That being said, it makes me sad that it looks as though the Mars Global Surveyor is perhaps lost. It had ten good years, and it only ended because one of the barings (possibly) gave out, causing the solar panels not to orient correctly. What is impressive is that they could use other missions in orbit to try and image the MGS.

Oh well. R.I.P MGS.
